This year’s virtual event is on February 16, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST. Hosted by InfoAdvocates, Information Governance Day is the annual celebration of the cross-collaborative discipline of IG. The day is filled with a series of keynote addresses and breakout sessions, a “Hall of Honor” induction ceremony and networking opportunities.
InfoGov Day 2023 features an impressive roster of speakers and panelists who will deliver engaging and thoughtful sessions on a variety of topics of interest to today’s IG leaders. After a short opening kickoff, the event schedule includes three session options:
· Growing the InfoGov-eDiscovery Connection
· Selecting an IG Consulting Practice
· Building Your IG Knowledge
After a short break, the event continues with a keynote featuring an “IG CEOs Insights Panel.” Six CEOs representing diverse organizations will share their perspectives on today’s information governance trends and priorities.
Attendees will enjoy a two-hour lunch break during which they are encouraged to explore the InfoAdvocates Metaverse, participate in one or more options for networking and visit the vendor community in the virtual #InfoGov Lobby. Afternoon sessions include “Expanding the Path for Women in IG” and “Optimizing Your IG Program,” followed by the Information Governance Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony and a closing networking opportunity. The day ends with an InfoGov Day Afterparty that promises to be a fun and engaging experience.
The event offers flexible, “choose-your-own” pricing and welcomes all members of the information governance community, of which FileTrail is proud to be a part. Registration for InfoGov Day is open here.
InfoAdvocates is an association of information professionals across disciplines, collaboratively solving the latest challenges organizations face around information. While members remain active in their primary discipline’s associations (e.g., ACEDS, AIIM, ARMA, etc.), InfoAdvocates augments that experience by creating additional opportunities for cross-collaboration. The group aims to collectively advocate for the information profession – for best practices, good regulations and solid laws.
