FileTrail is pleased to announce that in April and May 2018 we are launching an educational Roadshow Series in partnership with the International Legal Technology Association. The series, entitled “An Information Governance Policy Isn’t Enough – Strategies for Execution and Compliance,” will be making stops in five cities across the U.S., including Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
What to expect
FileTrail’s CEO Darrell Mervau will share some key considerations for law firms that are aiming to ensure their information governance (IG) policies are implemented and executed consistently in 2018. Today, law firms understand the importance of investing time and resources into IG policies and procedures. However, properly executing IG policies in the real world still remains a daunting challenge.
This series will outline some of the pitfalls that accompany the implementation of IG policies firm-wide, helping attendees understand how to make their law firms less vulnerable to risk. Attendees will also learn how today’s technology can simplify and automate previously manual IG processes, which can improve compliance with both internal policy and outside counsel guidelines as well as generate significant cost-savings.
Learn more about IG automation
In January 2018 FileTrail announced the launch of GPS™, Governance Policy Suite, a comprehensive information governance solution that promises to revolutionize how law firms implement IG policies and meet the requirements of outside counsel guidelines. GPS takes what has long been a complex, manual process with many moving parts and transforms IG into a simple, automated solution powered by workflows and driven by email notifications.
